life being a human
Thursday, February 23, 2017 at February 23, 2017
Things has not been great for me lately.. suddenly I feel like sharing my so call story to you guys.
I quit my full time job again. (F&B) service. Why? I can just tell you F&B is not my interest anymore, I am the person who likes to play, learn new things, able to work in a happy environment. Not saying the café I'm working now is not good. But I feel they are being more to a restaurant then a café. Plus I have been doing the same thing over and over again. blah blah blah.... I keep feeling like there is more in life then just plain working. I mean you only live once right.
I want to study Media and communication. Yes. I know its a wide variety of courses/jobs linked to it. Like you can do broadcasting, journalists, film making, script writing etc. I don't know since when I've this thoughts in my mind. Maybe because of too many dramas and movies. I love to watch dramas its like you can "escape" from the real world. Like how I wish I could live like that person in the drama. I like to watch those award ceremony, those actor/actress wore just nice clothes, getting sponsor etc.
obviously my father is not supporting my idea because parents mostly think that what you study during your school days determine what you are going to work as. Yes I studied western culinary arts during my 2 years in ITE and a year diploma course of F&B Management. Which my company sponsor me to go after my industrial attachment period. I have to sign a 2year contract with them and well working I have to go for lesson 2 time a month or 1 time a month plus assessment. for all 12 modules. Plus when you finish all 12 modules, WDA would gave you a thousand dollar reward. Back then my boss promise me if I finish that course he will increase my rank and pay and make me an management trainee. Bullshit. I finish my modules, my rank is still the same, pay no change. I still stuck and working the same shit all over again. Then suddenly the company when downfall having a big change, a lot of people is leaving etc. so I decide to quit. oh yes. I didn't even receive my certificate in hardcopy form but I have all my 12 modules in WDA website softcopy form. I have no idea if that's counted as a recognise certificate. Maybe I should call WDA and ask them. But back then I was so disappointed in my boss.
moving on...
I work a lot part time jobs... full time jobs... but it didn't last very long.
Yes. I stop my study journey at 20. A VERY YOUNG AGE. My dad couldn't afford big sum of fees for me to go private school. Back then is I want to work so that my dad can don't need to support me. I can feed myself. And yes I did, I can even go oversea by my own. Buy things without having to plead my father. But the problem is I have no Money control. I'm the type that I will spent every last bit of my pay at the end of every month. I don't do saving. But I do have a life saving insurance plan going on. Other than that my bank is zero. really zero. poor as f***k.
I'm trying my every bit still feeding myself. NOW my decision is to take a study bank loan and work part to repay it every month. Or to meet someone who can sponsor me , which of course I will repay that person in the future. The moment when I made this decision I know this is what I really want.

MY future plan is to work overseas. Work in Korea or Taiwan. Or anywhere BUT not in Singapore.
NOT saying Singapore is not good. Singapore is at the top of every listing. You can go google it.
The problem is living in Singapore is so expensive. Everything is rising, everyday I will hear those aunties and uncles complaining and my father. Not trying to preach anything. Pay all those taxes is my father not me. My poor father has to work day and night in order to support the family. And yes, that's why I gave up studying last time so that I could be independent and could take the burden off his shoulder. My mom is a housewife which thinks Singapore is a wonderful place. YES Singapore is a wonderful place. Clean environment, no robbery, no terrorists etc. All foreigners likes Singapore. This city is so small having no natural recourses by its own, we have to take it from others. so meaning what we have now is brought by the government. My point of view is that having all those road taxes, ERP, income taxes , housing taxes, blah blah blah is a kind of a repayment to them who brought you what you need. Without us .. How would there even have government.

GOD created this world. But as humans created all recourses, inventing great things that they hope to make the world a little better. I used to be a Christian. My mother is a very deep believer. I myself wouldn't call me a Christian anymore. I'm a free thinker. Praying and asking for GOD is just a way humans finding peace in their mind. It's like a mind trick game. humans tends to take things too far. Having to think a millions ways try to find peace.

still moving on..

If I ever had a chance I would definitely migrate to other country.  做人很难,做新加坡人更难。

ok.. if you are here, thanks for reading my super long wordy post.

I would like to share about something that is call 'personal information' 'permission'
I'm a person who doesn't like to share, why do you have to share? just get one for yourselves and there will be no argument.
I HATE people who take my things without having my permission... it's obviously that the item doesn't even belong yet you can just act it like that belongs to you and use and take freely as you wish. for example, markets , pens etc... you may think its a small thing and why am I making such a big fuss. YES it may look like a small thing to you but it may not be a small thing to the person who bought those stationery. Have a thought that how much afford is to buy and collect so many stationary through the years.... have you ever thought of oh maybe that person saves money everyday just to buy stationary. AND you the person lending it freely act like it belongs to you. what if one day it ran out of ink. Who is going to buy a new one? YOU?  I don't think so. so yeah how clever ... having to use free stationary everyday and don't have to spent a single cents. call me selfish or whatever you want. IF you are so generous WHY DON'T YOU GO BUY YOUR STATIONARY! TRY!!!! GO!

Other thing is personal information.... what's the meaning of private and confidential ... meaning its only between the first and second party. You shouldn't share the information to the third party or even to anyone without the consent of the first party.
Once you make a wrong move there is no turning back. Family problems are the same ... If the family doesn't want anyone else to know about.. you can't go out and gossip about other people thinking that you know a lot of things and making conclusion yourself. Always remember the words that came out from the mouth you can't swallow it back. Please when you want to say people, please have the right proof before you even gossip to other people. And please make the right decision before you take action. Saying bad things about other people doesn't make you better than other people. All people have their own problems in live to solve. It's not your call.

broading pass / passport for the next 4 days. Basically this card is very important and it acts like a personal wallet(using credit card) when you are buying anyone onbroad. Item sold onbroad are all in USD and are tax free!
The interior of the cruise. It's super super classy and english feel.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
A short video I recorded when we are waiting for the safey drill, My mom actually didn't ate anything since morning on that day just to wait to eat on broad. 😃
My dad is complaing why didn't we broad eariler instead. But I was like, we are just following the timing that was given to us. How I know if we can broad eariler. LOL
After the fire drill, we were brought to the Royal Promenade at Deck 5 for some light snacks and the Dreamworks Parade. You will get to watch the dreamworks parade when you broad on royal carribean's cruise ship. ALL dreamworks character is there!
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
After the parade, we went to explore the ship. there were 15 decks in total! HUGE!!!
WHAT A AWESOME FEELING !!!!!!! I LOVE THIS CRUISE HOLIDAY!! MORE PLEASE!!!
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Thinking that you can only smoke outdoor on cruise, fear not cause there is a smoking room that looks like this! so attas! (My mind was thinking like why chuck bass wasn't here) LOL Watched too much gossip girl.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Day 2 Penang, Malaysia
While day 2 we slept in quite late!
Woke up for international breakfast buffet. which was quite good! they provide wide range of food! ALL YOU CAN EAT!

For your information, Windjammer café provides free international buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Café at the royal promenade provides free small snacks such as bread, sandwich and cakes.
Our stateroom, it was actually very small. I intended to book a bigger room but then my parents will be at a different level, my dad want us to be side by side, end up this was the room given to us.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Yup. This is how I chill on cruise. How can you not drink when you are on a holiday. Ps; the cigarette is not mine! I don't smoke!
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Docked time at Penang was at 4pm, we can go down to shop and explore until 11:59pm before the ship leaves cruising back to Singapore.
Rent a bus to tour around George Town. The Indian driver was a kind and very friendly
Price was about 150 ringgit. Not expensive actually. You may want to ask a few if you want to compare the price. But since it's ringgit so don't bargain too much!
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

 Penang street food is the best! But looking at the way they prepare it looks so scary and unhygienic. I always hear my friends say when you ate Penang street food you will get diarrhoea. But lucky us, we are fine after eating so much food! 😃
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Day 3 Sailing back to Singapore .. sad..
Woke up damn early with my dad to catch the sunrise! which is was so awesomely nice! what a scene!
Here's a time-lapse video , I've recorded. its not a really good video though, standing there holding my phone and recorded like for 2 hour etc plus the wind is blowing so strong.
 ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Swimming and sauna time. The water is salty and with chlorine. I think they took the sea water and filter it to make pool water.
We took a nap after swimming on the bench facing the sea. It was such a good nap.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
After nap we ate lunch and just chill at the pool area before going back to the stateroom to wash up and prepare for the fine dining dinner.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
special show time for the last night on cruise. I'm sad to go home!!!
How I wish every holiday can last longer..... more cruise trip to go please.
I know its not cheap. hahahahaha
