Spring Seoul, Busan - South Korea Part 2
Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at June 12, 2018
Day 4
It was raining heavily when we arrive in Seoul and it's super cold, the temperature is way lower than normal temperature in spring. We took metro to Mapo Station, exit 3. The owner was not in town so his brother met us at the metro station and he drove us to our apartment and he show us around the neighbourhood. The apartment is super big and spacious, the only down side is the super long steep slope we need to walk daily up and down from the apartment. I did not take much photos during the first day after we had a long and tired day.

We went to SMTOWN coexartium (samseong station, exit 5) around 7pm. We are lucky we get to go SHINee Jonghyun oppa memorial service because it was his Birthday and the organizer decided to put up a memorial service so that fans can pay respect to him.
After that We went to Express Bus Terminal Underground Shopping (Express Bus Terminal Station, exit 8) time to shop shop shop! The place is super huge, we did not manage to finish the whole shopping area as it was close to 10pm and most of the stores is already closed.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Day 5
We went Gwangjang Market (Jongno 5-ga Station, exit 8 or Euljiro 4-ga Station, exit 4) in the morning to eat some traditional Korean food!

After filling our stomach.. it's time to go shopping at Myeongdong! (Myeong-dong Station, exit 6).
Visited the new Styenanda Pink Hotel concept store.. It was so pretty! but unfortunately the rooftop open area is closed on that day.. 😔

We went Andong Jjimdak restaurant to eat Boneless-Jjimdak. They don't allow us to order small portion because we have 5 people. The only option is 2 small portion or 1 big portion. So in the end we have to order the big portion and it was a little spicy. We could not finish the whole thing.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Day 6
The adults went to Lotte World for shopping, the children went Everland for the day!
After visiting the Zoo and all the scary rides (I did not play the super tall wooden rollercoaster which they called T-express but my friends did and they say it was a awesome ride).. We went to have Japan food for lunch.

Day 7
Hanbok and Palace touring day! We went back to One Day Hanbok store again and this is when we chose.

Instead of going Tosokchon for samgyetang(ginseng chicken soup) we went to another samyetang restaurant called Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup near by Bokchon Village.

After eating we just continue our way up to Bokchon Cultural Village.

We decided to visit a traditional tea house!

Moving on to next destination, we went Gyeongbokgung Palace

After returning our Hanbok, we took bus Namsan Circular Shuttle Bus No. 02 from Chungmuro station, exit 2 to N Seoul Tower. It's at the last stop so don't worry you will get lost.

On the way back you can take Namsan Circular Shuttle Bus No. 02, 03 or 05 and stop at any random metro station or you can stop at Myeongdong like us.

We went Yoogane for dinner!
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Day 8
Jojo and cooked breakfast for us in the morning! yay! Yummy!

After breakfast, we went to Hangang river (Yeouinaru station, exit 2 or 3).

After Hangang park, we went more shopping at Ewha Women University and back to Myeongdong for BBQ and street food and shopping! I brought them to the famous Wangbijib 明洞王妃家 main store in Myeongdong (There is a few other outlets in different alleys in Myeongdong too). We queue for about an hour to get our table! Super delicious!! The price is not cheap but it's worth the quality.
Sadly this is the last day in Korea and we are flying back to Singapore the next day.... Super don't feel like going back. Korea is always a awesome place! I will be back soon! Thanks for reading ! Cheers!
